Démographie et changement climatique: Deux facteurs qui dessinent l’avenir de l’énergie

Le défi des grands groupes de l’énergie sera de fournir aux très bientôt 9 milliards d’habitants de la planète une énergie au meilleur coût, disponible et propre car il s’agit aussi de répondre aux défis du changement climatique.

Sur quelles bases se fondent désormais les scénarios de croissance ? Avec quelles ambitions en termes de positionnement sur les différentes énergies ? Comment concilier les pays comme l’Inde et l’Afrique à démographie croissante qui mènent d’abord une politique de développement avant de mettre en place une politique climatique avec l’Europe qui a maintenant un discours politique qui met en première priorité la lutte contre le changement climatique et milite pour que les autres pays suivent son exemple, alors que la première économie mondiale et le plus émetteur se retire des accords de Paris. Tout ceci n’est pas sans créer des tensions…
